Colorado Education Association
The Colorado Education Association (CEA) is Colorado’s largest labor union supporting educators across the state while advocating to strengthen the education profession and the quality of education for every student in Colorado public schools. Every year, CEA publishes the State of Education report, a glimpse into the day-to-day lives of educators, collective wins for public education, and pressing challenges still facing Colorado’s public schools. We helped them translate their annual member survey data into striking visuals that make people stop and pay attention. The report was designed with legislators in mind—knowing that they may only have a few minutes to skim the report. We paired short summaries with infographics to paint the harsh realities of the challenges educators and students are facing in Colorado’s public schools.

Award of Excellence
The State of Education Report received the highest national honor in its category, the Award of Excellence in special publications, at the 2025 State Education Association Communicators (SEAComm) Conference in Minneapolis.
The State of Education report has become a powerful tool over the past few years for spotlighting the real issues educators are facing in our public schools. It’s been used in legislative testimony, local bargaining, and media coverage across the state. Annetta provided us with not only a beautiful printed report, cover to cover, but also transformed the designs and infographics to use in an interactive website and a package of social media graphics that helped us amplify our message throughout the legislative session.
